Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
ENTRON eco Compounds
The difference between polyamide compounds and polyamide raw polymers lies in their composition and application.
ENTRON eco granules are a raw polymer (basic polyamide) produced directly from the extrusion of polyamide waste (PIR). These raw polymers have the basic properties of polyamide, such as high strength, good abrasion resistance and chemical resistance, but without modifications or additives. They are often used as a starting material for compounding or for unmodified plastic parts. They can be used in a wide range of applications, but without further modification they are often not ideal for specific application-related requirements.
ENTRON eco compounds are polyamide pellets that have been modified with various additives or fillers to improve certain properties or give them new properties. Compounds can have tailored properties such as increased stiffness, improved thermal conductivity, reduced moisture absorption, increased impact strength, flame retardant properties or improved processability. They are particularly useful for specialty applications where specific mechanical, thermal or electrical properties are required. Examples include automotive parts, electrical and electronic components, industrial equipment and consumer goods.
In summary
ENTRON eco granules (raw polymers) are unmodified basic polyamides.
ENTRON eco compounds are modified versions of polyamide raw polymers, optimized for special requirements and applications.
The benefits include up to 90% lower CO₂ emissions compared to virgin material, high strength, abrasion resistance, good sliding properties and chemical resistance. They are temperature-resistant from ‑30°C to 100°C and are suitable for extrusion and injection molding.
ENTRON eco compounds are used in the agricultural and furniture industries, in vehicle, aircraft and mechanical engineering, in electrical engineering, household appliances, power tools and in the construction industry. Durch ihre Vielseitigkeit eignen sie sich für eine Vielzahl technischer Anwendungen.
ENTRON eco compounds are made from recycled polyamide (PA 6 and PA 6.6). These materials and the additives used, such as glass fibers and additives, are carefully selected and tested to ensure consistent quality and performance.
Various data sheets are available for the different compounds ENTRON eco A GF50 NC, ENTRON eco A GF35 NC, ENTRON eco A GF30 NC and others. These contain detailed information on technical specifications and possible applications.
The use of recycled polyamide significantly reduces the carbon footprint. ENNEATECH relies on seamless process control to ensure that every batch meets the highest quality standards while minimizing the environmental impact.
Recycled polyamide offers similar mechanical and chemical properties to virgin material, but with a significant reduction in CO2 emissions and resource conservation. This makes it a sustainable and environmentally friendly choice for industrial applications.
Each batch undergoes extensive laboratory testing, including impact strength, tensile strength, viscosity, moisture, material characterization and thermal properties, to ensure that the compounds meet the highest quality requirements.
ENTRON eco compounds offer reliable and certified performance, high mechanical strength and thermal resistance. They enable the production of lighter components with reduced wall thicknesses, thereby reducing costs, material usage and CO2 emissions. Customized formulations can also be developed.
ENNEATECH optimizes energy consumption through the use of modern energy management systems, energy-efficient machines and the use of renewable energies such as solar energy. By continuously monitoring and improving energy efficiency in all production processes, ENNEATECH contributes to reducing overall energy consumption.
ENNEATECH promotes sustainable development by integrating recycled materials into its products, implementing environmentally friendly production methods and collaborating with research institutions to develop innovative recycling technologies. The company is committed to maintaining high environmental standards, thereby helping to reduce waste and conserve natural resources.
ENNEATECH ensures transparency by providing comprehensive environmental data and product information. This includes Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) and Product Carbon Footprints (PCFs), which provide detailed information on the environmental impact and CO₂ emissions of its products. This data is regularly updated and made publicly available.
DIN SPEC 91481 defines requirements for the classification of plastic recyclates according to data quality levels that facilitate the trade and use of polyamide recyclates. It ensures uniform data collection and transfer, which improves transparency and traceability along the value chain. This promotes acceptance and demand for recyclates and supports the circular economy in the plastics industry.

Recycled polyamide – the foundation for strong components
ENNEATECH uses recycled polyamide in the manufacture of its components. The material, based on recyclates, achieves high impact strength (> 120 KJ/m²) and notched impact strength (>15 KJ/m²) without using elastomers or foreign polymers. ENTRON eco compounds achieve values that are comparable to those of compounds based on virgin materials.
Recycled polyamide – a sustainable choice
At ENNEATECH, we rely on recycled polyamide to offer a sustainable solution. As an experienced manufacturer of recycled plastics, we have decades of experience in processing PA 6 and PA 6.6 and ensure consistent material quality and supply reliability. Thanks to end-to-end process control that closely inspects every batch, we can achieve higher mechanical strength, which in turn leads to lower component wall thicknesses and thus reduces costs, material and theCO2 footprint.
