“Climate change is not a matter of faith, it’s a fact.”

ANGELA MERKEL

We make plastics sustainable

According to the European Parliament, the total amount of plastic waste in the EU in 2021 was 16.13 million tons. Around 6.56 million tons of this plastic waste was recycled. The EU has set itself clear targets with the Circular Economy Action Plan:
icon-recycling-granulate-1

More secondary raw materials
by 2030

The aim is to significantly increase the use of recyclates in production in order to conserve primary resources and close material cycles.

icon for CO2 reduction

55 % fewer
emissions by 2030

This ambitious intermediate value is to be achieved through energy-efficient processes, sustainable materials and the expansion of the circular economy.

icon for zero emission of CO2

Climate neutrality in
the EU by 2050

The EU wants to achieve this goal through a far-reaching transformation of the industry, the expansion of renewable energies and the consistent use of circular materials such as recyclates.

Germany’s national circular economy strategy takes up the objectives of the EU action plan. The German national circular economy strategy calls for material cycles to be closed by using recyclates that are as free of harmful substances as possible. Germany is developing so-called recyclate use quotas for various sectors together with its partners at EU level with the involvement of industry. • Suitable for injection molding and extrusion
  • CO2 footprint 90% lower than that of new goods

Continuous delivery capability

The recycled PA6 and PA66 pellets can therefore easily meet the requirements of the industry. And that’s not all: ENNEATECH can supply its recycled pellets continuously. The reason? Polyamide by-products from the high-end textile industry form the core of the impact-resistant recycled polyamides. The compounder uses these to produce a homogeneous base material. This is where ENNEATECH benefits from its many years of expertise in the textile industry and equally longstanding customer-supplier relationships. As the company is one of the pioneers in the market, it has a large supplier portfolio and can deliver reliably even in difficult market situations. ENNEATECH provides the following documents for all recycled polyamide granulates and compounds by recycling the high-quality textile waste:
  • CO2 footprintcertificate
  • Environmental Product Declaration (EPD)
Further information can be found here: Environmental impact of our polyamides and EPD for ENTRON

The benefits are obvious. Customers receive a high-quality recycled polyamide granulate for sophisticated technical components with aCO2 footprint that is 90% lower than that of virgin material. This enables the automotive, leisure, construction, electrical and electronics industries and the mechanical engineering sector to meet the requirements of the Circular Economy Act and also produce a sustainable, more climate-friendly product from the recycled pellets.

Recycled granules with amazing capabilities

ENNEATECH supplies recycled PA6 and PA66 pellets for various industries and applications. Their quality is consistent, as they are produced from waste from the textile industry without additives and foreign polymers. The data quality level of DQL‑4 acc in accordance with DIN SPEC 91446 is at a very high level — so there is plenty of information available about the pellets. ENTRON eco recycled pellets are the basis from which customers in the automotive, electrical and electronics, construction and mechanical engineering industries produce sustainable technical compounds. The advantages of recycled granulates are clear: higher mechanical strength allows for lower component wall thicknesses. This saves costs and material and further reduces theCO2 footprint of the resulting component.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
ENTRON eco granules

Recycled polyamide differs from virgin material in the basis from which it is produced. While recycled polyamide is produced from waste — in ENNEATECH’s case from waste from the textile industry — the chemical industry produces virgin material from petrochemical raw materials. Recycled polyamide from ENNEATECH offers similar mechanical and chemical properties to virgin material, but with a significant reduction in CO2 emissions. This makes it more resource-efficient and climate-friendly.

The recycled granulates are suitable for the production of sophisticated technical compounds for the automotive, leisure, construction, electrical and electronics industries and mechanical engineering. They are used to produce high-impact compounds that still perform at ‑30°C. Others pass the glow-wire test — a critical safety test for fire-resistant electrical devices at temperatures of over 750 degrees Celsius. The range of applications for recycled PA granules is diverse and even meets the requirements of such critical sectors as the automotive, electrical and electronics industries.

ENNEATECH only uses waste and by-products from the high-end textile industry for its recycled pellets, which are available without aggregates and additives. Long-standing contacts in the industry and experience in the textile industry allow ENNEATECH to always deliver reliably, even in difficult market situations.

A CO2 reduction of up to 90% can be achieved.
