The film currently online shows the completion of the floor slab of our new 450 m² production hall. Of course, we used our newly developed concrete fibre Enneafil for this. The result is a unique and high-quality concrete-fibre-reinforced floor slab that has exceeded our expectations.
In the early hours of 16 September, the time had finally come. After a long and meticulous testing and research phase, we were finally able to use ENNEAFIL under “real competitive conditions” in the construction of our floor slab.
Instead of the usual steel reinforcement, our polyamide macro and micro fibres were added in the concrete factory. The required static calculations and the exact mixing ratio were prepared beforehand by the structural engineer Mr Hallenga (Ingenieurbüro PHHT PartGmb, Aurich):
5 kg per m³ Enneafil Macro A 60mm and 1.5 kg per m³ Enneafil Micro A 12mm
The first concrete mixer truck drove up to the construction site at 7.30 in the morning. In the presence of the board of directors, employees, supervisory board and interested experts, the concrete mix was installed by a company specialising in industrial floors and smoothed after a setting time.
The micro and macro fibres homogeneously incorporated into the concrete matrix exhibited excellent flow properties. The installed pipes for floor heating (utilisation of waste heat from the production facilities) and the expansion joints could be worked into the concrete without any problems.
From the external testing laboratory, spreading measures to determine consistency and various test specimens were filled to perform downstream analyses. Proudly summing up, we can conclude:
ENNEAFIL is a high-quality material destined for future success!
