The new hall in Großefehn is up and running, the first production line is up and running, and there is space for two more: The aim now is to win customers for the PA compounds, which consist of 100% recycled material and have better property profiles than many virgin compounds — without the addition of virgin material, foreign polymers or modifiers. “What we have achieved here is unique. We are very proud of this,” says Hartmut Schoon, Managing Director of ENNEATECH AG, introducing his company’s new business segment. “It’s not just us, the ‘German Netherlands’ with an altitude of just 4 metres above sea level, that are affected by climate change — it’s five to twelve. We all have to pull together and become CO2-neutral,” Hartmut Schoon insists and explains together with Plant Manager Artur Lange and Markus Westarp, Production Manager Compounding, at the on-site meeting with K‑PROFI, he explains what his company is doing to reduce its own and its customers’ carbon footprint.
